2.1. Building relationships with other green jobs alliances and stakeholders
One of the main objectives of this section in the project was the development of partnerships in Europe to connect the new jobs generated by the ecological transition with people in vulnerable situations. To this end, Info Sessions were held in all countries, presenting the project and the possible forms of cooperation with it for strategic actors in the field of business, civil society organizations and training entities. In addition, a cross-cutting partnership database was created for the entire project, in which the various interested actors can register and specify their degree of commitment to the project and how they will be involved.
In terms of alliances building, more than 130 people were initially introduced to the project, of whom more than 40 made concrete commitments to the project. This can be seen in the partnership database that was delivered as a Deliverable of WP2. These figures are indicative of a strong initial partnership-building effort, which gave impetus to the project from the outset, raising awareness and engaging a large number of strategic partners in support of the project. These allies are distributed in very different areas and levels of action: public administration, business, civil society and training and work integration entities for vulnerable groups.
Regarding the generation of alliances, the database was created to be filled in throughout the project, so that partnerships are not an isolated activity but a cross-cutting activity of the proposal. In addition, ‘Long-term relationship (being part of the project platform, active collaboration)’ was included in the possibilities of engagement. In this way, it is foreseen that the platform of strategic actors with competence in employment and green and digital entrepreneurship will remain after the end of the project and will continue to scale.
the ‘Online workshop to discuss main issues’, national info sessions were held in all the countries involved (Italy, Greece and Spain), and a European session was held with the participation of entities from all over Europe. The results of the workshops were shared with the participants in a friendly format, so that we all had valuable input in what was ultimately a networking session and presentation of the project.
On the other hand, as regards the ‘Identification and contact of key stakeholders and experts’ and ‘Design of future joint actions and strategies with the aim of providing inputs in other sections in the project’, a database was created in which, through a form, interested actors could leave their contact details and specify in which activities they will be part of the project, as well as their possible interest in being part of a European alliance around green and digital jobs and entrepreneurship.
