Local Hackathon Madrid
The Green at You green employment and green entrepreneurship pathways have successfully concluded across all participating countries, marking an important milestone in the project’s commitment to supporting inclusive access to green jobs and sustainable entrepreneurship.
In total, 537 people enrolled in the Green at You training activities implemented in Spain, Italy, Greece and Serbia, engaging participants in learning pathways designed to respond to real labour market and entrepreneurial opportunities linked to the green transition.
Throughout the training period, participants followed modular learning pathways combining solid foundations on sustainability with specialised technical or entrepreneurial content. The programmes also integrated transversal competences such as green skills, digital skills and entrepreneurial mindsets, supporting participants in building well-rounded professional profiles aligned with the needs of emerging green sectors.
A key element of the learning experience within the green entrepreneurship pathways was the organisation of local hackathons in each participating country. These collaborative events enabled participants to work in teams, address real-life green challenges and apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training in a practical and hands-on environment.
The training phase culminated in a final international hackathon, where selected participants from different countries came together to present their project ideas and entrepreneurial solutions. This international exchange strengthened cross-border collaboration, encouraged peer learning and showcased innovative approaches aligned with the objectives of a fair and sustainable green transition.
By combining structured learning with practical challenges and peer collaboration, Green at You has supported hundreds of participants in gaining confidence, strengthening their employability and exploring new pathways towards sustainable and inclusive careers.
