Green at You has officially launched its training activities, introducing a set of green employment and green entrepreneurship pathways across Spain, Italy, Greece and Serbia. These pathways are designed to support people in vulnerable situations in developing the skills needed to access emerging opportunities linked to the green and digital transition.
The selection of training areas was not arbitrary. Before designing the pathways, Green at You carried out a research process in all participating countries, analysing labour market trends, skills gaps and employer demand, while also taking into account the interests and needs of potential learners. This evidence-based approach ensured that the training offer responds to real employment opportunities and concrete entrepreneurial potential at local and national level.
The resulting training offer addresses the growing demand for green skills across Europe and focuses on professions and entrepreneurial activities with strong social and environmental impact. Each pathway combines technical learning, green and digital competences, and practical experience, preparing participants for both labour market integration and self-employment opportunities.
Green employment pathways
The green employment pathways focus on professional profiles connected to renewable energy, sustainable land use and nature-based solutions:
Photovoltaic Solar System Installer – Spain
Energy Advisor – Spain
Educational Farm Operator – Italy and Greece
Nature-Based Solutions Operator – Italy
These pathways combine online learning with in-person or blended training sessions, enabling participants to acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience directly related to their professional field.
Green entrepreneurship pathways
In parallel, Green at You has launched green entrepreneurship pathways aimed at people interested in developing sustainable business ideas, social enterprises or community-based initiatives:
Community Energy Resources (CER) Manager – Italy
Nature-Based Solutions for Sustainable Construction – Spain
Sustainable Farming – Greece
Sustainable Forestry Management – Spain, Italy, and Serbia
All pathways are implemented with a strong focus on inclusion, prioritising the participation of women, migrants, long-term unemployed people and young people facing barriers to employment. Through this inclusive and demand-driven approach, Green at You contributes to building a green economy that is not only environmentally sustainable, but also socially fair and accessible.
